To παγκοσμίως καταξιωμένο οικονομικό περιοδικό «World Finance» αναδεικνύει κάθε χρόνο δύο ασφαλιστικές εταιρίες ως τις καλύτερες ασφαλιστικές, για τους δύο βασικούς κλάδους των γενικών και των ασφαλίσεων ζωής, από όλες τις χώρες του κόσμου.
Για την Ελλάδα την διάκριση αυτή πέτυχαν για το 2018 η Interamerican στον κλάδο των Γενικών Ασφαλίσεων και η NN Hellas στον κλάδο των ασφαλίσεων ζωής.
Για την Κύπρο ως καλύτερες ασφαλιστικές εταιρίες αναδείχθηκαν η General Insurance of Cyprus στις γενικές ασφαλίσεις και Universal Life στις ασφαλίσεις ζωής.
Επίσης διακρίσεις στις χώρες τους κέρδισαν και δύο ασφαλιστικές που δραστηριοποιούνται και στην Ελλάδα με καθεστώς Ελεύθερης Παροχής Υπηρεσιών (ΕΠΥ).
Πρόκειται για την Μαλτέζικη GasanMamo Insurance που διακρίθηκε στην χώρα της έδρας της την Μάλτα στις γενικές ασφαλίσεις και την Qatar General Insurance στη χώρα της μητρικής εταιρίας το Κατάρ. Η εταιρία δραστηριοποιείται και στην Ευρώπη με την θυγατρική QIC EUROPE LTD .
